Artist: ANOTR
Title: Love Can Do
Label: No Art Recordings
Release date: Out now
Cat no: NOART004
Genre: House/Tech-House

From flipping about in an Amsterdam attic studio to being called “a breath of fresh air”, “producers to watch”, and “future superstar DJs”, this latest offering from young guns ANOTR should work wonderfully on dance floors of the world.

Consisting of 21 year olds Jesse van der Heijden and Oguzhan Guney, ANOTR are committed to bridging House – Tech House with jacking grooves of the kind of their latest offering titled – “Love Can Do”. This flaming one tracker opens its business this month on No Art Recordings. No wonder that the duos outstanding works from Amsterdam based musicians caught the interest of Armada Music which subsequently led to the release of summer anthem ‘Strobe’ on Defected records breakout label DFTD in early October 2015.

“Love Can Do” begins raw and old-school (and in such accurate detail) but grows glossier and less obviously classifiable as it progresses. With shaker rhythms registering up for primary sensation, the scope and ambition of the track, leads you straight to the floor. As the jackin and rolling bass line progresses one can easily feel how much the body of the message is free of any trappings and adopts free form subtle oscillations, its up-tempo and a dance cut that goes through with a quick sand approach.
At the most, its a really well done track, that should find favour with some of the best in the business.
