Sid Le Rock kicks the European summer off with ‘High Low EP’ onHafendisko. Sid has been a force within the electronic music scene providing his fans and followers with high-quality releases such as ‘Dive Bar’, ‘First Kiss’ and ‘Elasticity’ always staying true to his style but also not afraid of bringing in new elements into his quest for innovation. This dedication to music has led him to release on labels such as My Favorite Robot and Suruba and he continuously travels around the world bringing his energetic DJ sets to all corners of the world.

With ‘High Low EP’ Sid delivers another interesting and catchy 3-tracker, bringing us with him on a musical journey yet again. The title track starts with cranky sounds moving around a broad synth and bassline, making it a deep and intense tune. ‘Judas Beast’ spikes up the tempo slightly, but keeps the mood that the first track lays out for us. The shuffling groove combined with mystified percussions and a peering synth comes together making up a spacey atmosphere. The third track of the EP, ‘Mosquito’, adds another layer of energy to the release and moves up even more tempo wise, bringing about a positive vibe working with a charming melody and a funked up groove.

Sid Le Rock’s newest release covers a wide specter of sounds and influences working together to give us a nice selection of tracks, each tending to different emotions and atmospheres. Although stepping out of the box with this EP, Sid delivers tracks that are enjoyable and captivating to listen to.
