With their huge first season at Amnesia just around the corner, Abode today announce the carefully curated mix of headliners and residents who will make it the most essential new party on the White Isle. From June 14th to September 27th 2018, a mix of established heroes and fast rising talents such as Groove Armada, Heidi, Nic Fanciulli, Secondcity, Skream, Steve Lawler, Solardo, Sonny Fodera, Max Chapamn, Yousef, Mark Jenkyns, East End Dubs and many more will all bring their unique sounds to the party.
This iconic Thursday night slot will be a chance for Abode to showcase the contemporary sound they have become known for over the last few years. At the heart of each night will be their trusty team of resident DJs, who will have graduated from playing second rooms of London to closing down the world’s biggest club after superstars like Steve Lawler. These are Ellie Cocks and George Harrison who have now got a reputation on the European stage thanks to heavy support from Radio 1 and Mixmag. Other much loved residents include Jimmy Switch, Jack Swift & Devstar, Artikal and Will Taylor, and they will all bring their own personal flavours and sense of energy to each event.
The line-up is a careful mix of artists from different corners of the house world. There is the globally acclaimed chart toppers Groove Armanda and Secondcity, world renowned party starters like Skream and jacking Radio 1 stars like Heidi who like to make the dance floor sweat. Australian Sonny Fodera is a man who has plenty of tunes in his arsenal both solo and with the likes of Green Velvet on labels like Defected, Saved boss Nic Fanciulli is another headline grabbing DJ talent in charge of his own label and festival empire, and Hot Creations man Mark Jenkyns has been turning out big hits for years now
DJ Mag’s Best Breakthrough Act Latmun will bring his fresh take on house, Manchester’s hotter than hot Solardo—who run the influential Sola label— and Pioneer radio man and Beatport Top 10 regular Max Chapman will bring plenty of heat, while for more stripped back and minimal house and tech sounds, East End Dubs is the man.
For chunky, driving house look no further than Avotre’s Sante and Sidney Charles, while Circus ringleader Yousef has become a real favourite and Radio 1 regular for good reason. Add in VIVa label boss and long time talent Steve Lawler and last but not least Nathan Barato and you have a fresh and exciting mix of names that each bring something fresh to this hotly anticipated new residency.
