HALLOWEEN SPECIAL @ MCQUEEN, SHOREDITCH
FRI 30 OCT 20:00-03:00
Founded by industry stalwart Paul Gardener of Soul Avengerz notoriety, Analogue Days is a seasonal party dedicated to the cream of what now would be considered ‘Old School’ house music. From the Halcyon days of Fiction at The Cross, Rulin’ at Ministry and DTPM at Fabric, Analogue Days has one simple message – Good Music Doesn’t Have an Expiration Date, which is evidently clear from the hoards of dedicated clubbers who dust off the disco shoes and head ‘out out’ to take part in one of London’s fastest growing cult parties.
Paul created the event in response to the over-saturation of parties in London, all chasing the next hot sound, fad or trend, parallel to the closure of some of London’s most iconic nightspots including Turnmills, The Cross, Canvas etc; Paul takes things back to basics, and it’s proving to be a winning formula for those in the know.
A low cost entry price, an early start time, yet a late finish combined with some of the most spine-tingling soulful house anthems performed by near legendary DJ’s, add a sophisticated, yet free thinking crowd makes for one of the cities’ most exciting new events. Where others have failed to bring back the magic, Paul succeeds with his efforts, and the party grows from strength to strength taking on a larger venue each time. The next party is taking place at McQueen on 30th October as the Halloween Special.
