Babylon Festival announces their second round acts including Andreas Hanneberg, SQL, Psychemagik and more

After the already amazing announcement that Carl Cox, Max Cooper and LOUD have joined the Babylon Festival lineup. Australia’s latest electronic music and lifestyle camping experience; Babylon Festival is excited to be adding the following acts to their already HUGE musical offering.

Andreas Hanneberg
Captain Hook
Vibe Tribe
Barclay Crenshaw

Psychemagik: The UK duo, known for their beautiful production work, prolific remixing
skills, obscenely vast record collections and transcendent mixtape journeys, are being heralded as a truly
unique and positive presence across today’s music scenes. Their remix output includes Temper Trap, Roisin
Murphy, Noel Gallagher, Haim, Bryan Ferry, Beyond The Wizards Sleeve, Paul Weller and Metronomy, with
FACT mag summing up their skills best when they observed their “ear for mind-expanding dance floor mysticism.”

Andreas Hanneberg: Born in Berlin and still living, loving & working in this beautiful pulsating city. Founder
of “Voltage Musique Records” and “Cascandy” as well as part of “The Glitz” and “Hennon”. Andreas’ style is
considered to be a mix of Tech-house, Minimal and Techno and his DJ sets reflect his 20 year experience.

Captain Hook: When your heart is in the right place, rhythm shall follow. And this path is a journey of
discovering your inner groove. This is the philosophy of Captain Hook, the psytrance pirate. Having released
music on a host of internationally acclaimed labels as part of the Quantize project, in 2011 he released his
debut album as Captain Hook on Iboga Records, and has not looked back since. The next three years saw
him touring and producing constantly, working with Ace Ventura, Liquid Soul, Perfect Stranger, Loud,
Tetrameth, Freedom Fighters and ill.Gates, while giving each track a unique sound design, texture and colour.
This culminated into the remix album Akashic Library, released late in 2013. He is currently planning his next
album, and continuing to tour major festivals and events around the world. Next stop: Babylon.

Vibe Tribe: Vibe Tribe is the project of producer Stas Marnyanski. Stas, a Russian born Israeli, has been
producing electronic based music since his early teens. His innovative and breathtaking melodic high tech
psy-trance style has quickly gained him global recognition, and placed him on the most demanding stages all
over the world. This busy soul is always at work, producing more and more fresh new material & remixes,
which will be released in the near future.

Kiko: This is what defines Kiko best, versatile artist who has thrilled electronic music fans for two decades
now. His journey began in the mid-90s in Grenoble, France. Back then, Kiko makes many collaborations on
labels such as Interface, Ozone Records, with French and international artists, including The Hacker, Oxia and
Miss Kittin. His vinyl shop then becomes the most important place of Grenoble’s scene, forging a “made in
France” techno style. After that, he plays in the biggest festivals, clubs and raves, travelling through the
country before growing international. In 2011, Carl Cox chooses him for his “Revolution Tour” warm-ups in
France. 2013 is marked by his own tour “20 Years of Music Production” and his worldwide gigs. In 2016, he
confirms his position with a tour across the Pacific Ocean and performs during Miguel Campbell’s Outcross
parties at Sankeys Ibiza.

Barclay Crenshaw: Metaphysical slow jams from the guy you also know as Claude Von Stroke

SQL: By just 27-years-old, Pim Van Horssen has seen more success come his way than many will in a lifetime.
With a list of releases as long as your arm as well as gigs in all corners of the globe, his experience and
expertise is a given. From shows in the massive Loveland in Holland and Eclipse Festival in Australia to gigs in
India, Mexico, Canada and Brazil to name a few he has truly experienced it all. He has also released tracks on
Traum, Outpost, Get physical, Form and Perspectives and he has collaborated with well known artists like
Andreas Henneberg, D-Nox, Child and many other well known techno producers. Blending cutting edge
techno and house with fat production, hypnotic grooves and a unique view to the future of dance music, the
sounds from the SQL studios are now in demand.

KNOBS: If any producer can be known as a wayfarer, then Knobs truly encompasses this archetype. Having
lived and travelled across Africa, Asia, North America, Australasia and Europe since his birth in Rome, his
experiences are wide, varied and are now echoed through his musical production. Knobs has a passion for
acquiring inspiration from the sounds surrounding his life; stretching from different musical genres to all urban
and natural soundscapes. His style in Techno is well known for its prominent drive and bass laced with fine
cut rhythmics topped with dark, organic atmospheres evoking a primordial and mystical essence.
