Bambounou returns with the ‘Parametr Perkusja’ EP on Don’t DJ’s Disk imprint

Artist: Bambounou
Title: Parametr Perkusja
Label: Disk
Cat No: DISK14
Release date: 25th May 2018
Genre: Techno

The three-track EP comes from a more spiritual side of the Parisian DJ and producer, Bambounou who spent his time on the record in order to define his musical style. Nowadays everything is rushed, the way we consume music, the way we listen to it and the way it is eventually produced.

Don’t DJ and Bambounou met back in early 2017 at the latter’s residency at iBoat, Bordeaux, they hit it off and the ‘Parametr Perkusja’ EP was born. Basing his inspiration on the phenomena of resonances and dissonances in steel fixtures, Bambounou creates an impression of rhythmic instability which has strong and original characteristics which fit exactly to Disk’s style.

Crisp beats interlocked in edgy grooves shaping a hypnotising drive with dark tension. Like a giant clockwork relentlessly pushing forward entangling the listeners in its infectious repetition, thrilling their bodies with an energetic buzz. ‘Parametr Perkusja’ will be out on May 25th on black 12″ vinyl wrapped in artwork by Lotte Meret Effinger.
