Ben Böhmer “Caught Up In The Fire (feat. JONAH)” is out now on Ninja Tune

Ben Böhmer returns with his first new music in over a year – standalone single “Caught Up In The Fire” featuring Berlin-based singer-songwriter JONAH, out now on Ninja Tune. The release follows the global success of his acclaimed album ‘Bloom’, which featured Lykke Li, alt-pop duo Oh Wonder, Enfant Sauvage (of the French duo The Blaze) and more, and has now surpassed an impressive 110 million streams and was voted by Forbes as a top 20 Dance Albums of 2024.

“It’s about being caught in a moment that feels bigger than you … and in that moment, everything changes.” Ben comments on the new single.

Over four years in the making and already a highlight in Ben’s celebrated live sets, “Caught Up In The Fire (feat. JONAH)” has been met with an overwhelming response from fans worldwide. Fresh off the back of a standout performance at this year’s ADE Festival, Ben continues to tour the globe, performing to huge crowds with upcoming live dates across North America, Europe, Japan, India, Latin America, Australia, and Southeast Asia.

Ben’s music and live performances have earned him widespread acclaim from both fans and tastemakers. Throughout 2025 Ben completed his largest U.S. tour to date spanning 16 cities and drawing over 20,000 attendees, headlined Finsbury Park in London this August with Oh Wonder as a special guest, and sold out a major EU tour in Autumn 2024, including a show at London’s Alexandra Palace (over 10k capacity). To add to this he’s played high-level festivals around the world including Glastonbury, Primavera, Pukkelpop, CRRSD, SONAR, Portola, Electric Forest, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, Ilesoniq, Lost Paradise, Estero Picnic, and recently supported ODESZA on their The Last Goodbye finale stadium shows in LA, NY and Washington. He’s also shared bills with the likes of Caribou, Four Tet, Bicep, and Jamie xx to name just a few.

His Cercle set – filmed from a hot air balloon above Cappadocia, in Turkey – has now surpassed 37 million views and is one of the top 10 most viewed electronic music sets of all time on YouTube. Plus, last year Ben performed a BBC Radio 1 Piano Session with Sian Eleri, featuring “Rain” with Max Milner and an emotive cover of Tyla’s global hit “Water”.
