La Ribera Market and Restaurant

La Ribera is perhaps the most poignant and well-known market and restaurant in the Basque territory. The market is within the confines of an incredibly historic building from 1929 and the old market dates back to before the 15th century. The live music, the food and the historical richness simply makes this a must visit.

Casco Viejo (Old Town)

Like with many cities around Europe, the Old Town’s are great tourist attractions, clean, historic and a great deal of activities and shops to complete and visit. Casco Viejo is Bilbao’s offering and provides one of the best known pintxos bars from the city.

Museo Guggenheim Bilbao

What’s a trip to Bilbao if you don’t make time to visit the awe-inspiring and quite peculiar Museo Guggenheim. Since its’ foundations were laid back in 1997 by Canadian-American, Frank Gehry, the Museum and structure has both perplexed and excited visitors, now it’s your turn!

Parque Etxebarria

The Parque Etxebarria is a clean and open space that’s extremely popular with the locals. The watchtower, central to the space offers a wide, urban panoramic view of the surrounding city, perfect for those holiday photos.

Kafe Antzokia

One of the most lauded and respected nightspots of the city of Bilbao, the Kafe Antzokia offers all types of entertainment for your evening, club nights, comedy, concerts and everything in between. A venue that’s had some scintillating performances down the years and is sure to host many more!

Ria de Bilbao

The Ria de Bilbao runs directly through the city and offers the potential of a beautiful boat-ride in the often sun-soaked city. A great suggestion for couples, groups of friends or the family. We’d highly recommend doing this whilst on your visit to Bilbao for BIME festival.
