For over 25 years Café Mambo Ibiza has become synonymous with quality dance music. It became the place to meet for guaranteed good times and to watch the incredible Ibiza sunsets, playing host to all the big names in dance music, not to mention the infamous BBC Radio 1 Ibiza weekends. Over recent years, Mambo has also left the island to forge new friendships with revellers across the globe, throwing unforgettable parties and bringing an authentic slice of Ibiza to such places as Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Dubai, Phuket, Beirut and Bahrain, as well as huge festival appearances at the likes of Tomorrowland and We Are FSTVL, and its own huge ‘Ibiza Classics’ events in Bedford Park and Castle Howard.

‘Classics In The Park’ has hand-picked some of the artists who have made a global impact on dance music and been a staple part of any Ibiza experience over the years. Roger Sanchez will grace the Café Mambo Ibiza turntables. The Grammy Award-winning Stealth Records boss led the global New York house explosion in the 90’s and has never looked back. His ‘Release Yourself’ Ibiza night held long term residencies at some of the island’s best clubs including Pacha and Amnesia and he continues to play at respected Ibiza nights such as Defected and Glitterbox. He was on the line up for the legendary Space Ibiza closing party which underlines his status – few people know what makes an Ibiza classic like Roger Sanchez and the Stonor Park crowds are in for a treat when this highly skilled DJ takes to the decks.

The Shapeshifters delivered one of the white isle’s best-loved tracks and a UK #1 hit with ‘Lola’s Theme’, going on to enjoy a further 3 UK Top 40 hits. DJ and producer, Simon Marlin, has been a mainstay in the development of house music, releasing on the legendary Defected Records since 2008, with more releases coming on highly respected disco house label, Glitterbox. This Shapeshifter knows house music inside out and is sure to deliver a memorable set.

Todd Terry is another bonafide house music legend. His productions through the late 80’s and 90’s such as his remixes of ‘I’ll House You’ by Jungle Brothers and ‘Missing’ by Everything But The Girl, helped shape the direction of house music. Responsible for classics like ‘Keep On Jumpin’ and ’Something Goin’ On’, the Indeep label boss continues to DJ around the world and regularly produce new music supported by the scene’s most influential tastemakers. Stonor Park is most definitely set to keep on jumping!

Jason Bye first played for Mambo in 1995 and the venerated Ibiza resident has been entertaining the Ibiza clubbing masses with his impressive mixing and impeccable tune selection ever since. There are few DJs out there who understand the Café Mambo ethos better than Jason Bye and he’s sure to bring the Balearic party vibes all the way from Ibiza to Stonor Park.

‘Classics In The Park’ will feature two very special live PAs. Julie McKnight will be flying in to perform her seminal hit ‘Finally’ which she recorded with Kings Of Tomorrow – a true Ibiza anthem. This hugely talented vocalist remains in high demand and will no doubt dip even further into her back catalogue of classics.
Also taking to the stage is Robin S, best known for the global smash ’Show Me Love’, arguably one of the most recognisable house music tracks ever. The New Yorker followed up with more hits like ‘Luv 4 Luv’ and ‘What I Do Best’ and is known for her energetic performances and amazing vocals.
Singing along to Julie McKnight and Robin S with hands in the air will be a moment to remember for those lucky enough to be there.

From just £32.50 (+b/f) for a ticket, this event is seriously good value. It’s time to dance again and Café Mambo Ibiza ‘Classics In The Park’ will be a surefire highlight of the summer for house music fans and Ibiza aficionados everywhere.
