Cambridge Audio releases new line of Bluetooth hi-res turntables

Cambridge Audio has spent time working on improving their first hi-res wireless turntables which were released back in 2019. Tweaking and improving the design to deliver an even more capable Bluetooth turntables, the lineup for 2022 includes the stunning Alva TT V2 and Alva ST models.

Both of the models feature Bluetooth aptX HD audio codec that allows for switchable hi-res wireless streaming, a built-in phono stage with a switchable phono pre-amp, vibration-absorbing EVA foam lining the top of each table’s MDF, and a preinstalled high-output MC cartridge.

The MC Cartridge features an exposed cantilever design and elliptical stylus, custom-designed Alva MC, a high-output Moving Coil cartridge originally for Alva TT, all of which helps to deliver stunning levels of musical detail. The 68° angled cantilever is a call-back to Cambridge Audio’s founding year of 1968 and a celebration of over 50 years of innovation.

The Alva ST is a belt-driven model with a 645.3-gram die-cast aluminium platter and the more high-end second-generation Alva TT V2 uses a direct-drive setup with a top plate that’s been hewn from 6mm aluminium plate and a 2,200-gram platter that’s crafted from Polyoxymethylene.

The Cambridge Audio Alva ST and Alva TT V2 turntables are priced at $999 and $1,999. Find out more information and order HERE
