Cleer Audio collaborates with Mimi Hearing to deliver an audio experience catered to your ear health

California-based Cleer Audio has announced the Ally Plus II, a pair of earbuds designed in collaboration with Mimi Hearing that’s designed to customise sound based on your ear health and help you maintain that ear health through Mimi Sound Personalisation.

After the Centre for Disease Control in the USA announced findings in February 2021 that one in four American adults aged 21 to 69 has symptoms of noise-induced hearing loss, ear health is a more concerning and prevalent issue than most of us would ever have thought. It is with this finding that the Ally Plus II was designed.

Industry-leading active noise cancellation with Feed Forward and Feed Backward technology and custom filters provide up to 34dB for the peace and quiet you need while on the go. Ambient Awareness mode allows you to let the outside audio in to hear the world around you without removing your earbuds.

The Ally Plus II boasts the use of Cleer Acoustic Labs custom-tuned 10mm dynamic graphene drivers deliver vibrant audio performance and powerful bass. Bluetooth® 5.2 with AptX™, AptX™ Adaptive, and dual microphones for enhanced call quality.

With the free Cleer+ app, you can customise the noise-cancelling and environment sound levels for better isolation or awareness. The app also allows customization of touch controls and Equalizer settings along with the ability to update the firmware. Available in the Apple App Store and Google Play store.

The Ally Plus II is now available in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany and China, with more territories to be announced in 2022. Orders can be made on Cleer Audio’s website after a minimum purchase of $70.
