Coma, an underground club night and platform for UK artists united through their shared love for techno music, have finally taken the leap into the record label business, releasing their first various artist EP. For this release, founder of the concept, Doubleffe invited close friends and partners from all over the world to bring the project a step further. The label boss sets the mood right from the beginning with ‘Metamorphosis (Dub Version)’, and the name of the track definitely reflects the development Coma has experienced the last years. An interesting blend of elements work together to create a kind of track made for the late hours in dark clubs.

DTM (Detroit Techno Militia) also serves a power tool with, ‘Future Forces’ reminding us of their background as the collective from Detroit that through hard work and consistency has earned much musical appreciation and respect. The track follows their known style, and both synth and the percussive work is on point. The release takes a darker turn with JoyB’s, ‘Procrastination’ where the Madrid-based producer has cooked together a trippy feeling through the track’s different layers. Dutchman, Ritzi Lee is known for his intense music always building up a momentum through twists and turns, and ‘Primal Audio’ is no different. A dark and force of a track, ready to take the dance floors to another level.

The EP is a great, pure techno salutation, putting Coma on the map right away as a label to be reckoned with.
