Progressive phenomenon D-Formation debuts on the ever so consistent Eleatics Records with an absolutely mind-blowing triple track EP

Artist: D-Formation
Title: Day Time EP
Label: Eleatics Records
Release: Out Now!
Genre: Progressive House

Those who spend their time pondering the beauty of progressive house will certainly recognize D-Formation as an absolute master of melodics. Once again, he has delivered an EP, which includes a mega remix from the fantastic Florian Kruse, that is absolutely certain to stand the test of time.

The original mix of ‘Day Time’ kicks thing off with a bang. Subtle saturation aligns the huge, reverberated synth lines that are dotted throughout, building ferocious energy with each passing second. On the surface, this track may seem to be built from simple patterns, but they stack together in an incredible way, bringing u a record of pure elation, pure progression, it is truly outstanding.

Florian Kruse’s remix follows a similar path, with trippy, thick synth lines and alluring atmospherics. The thumpy 909 drums give the remix a different texture to the original. It feels a little more retro in comparison to the modern sounding original. Both the original and the remix truly complement each other. They both contain that mind-altering substance, but with enough difference to stand alone.

‘Amaya’ has more of a classical Prog feel to it. The high-end melodics have an amazing brightness, which work in tandem with the warm mids and low end to create a perfectly balanced mix. Once again, D-Formation has created a track that can hook us in and keep us entertained throughout the duration. There are not many artists that possess this ability when crafting a record. I think it is safe to say, ‘Day Time’ is an absolutely stunning EP.
