Daft Punk’s creative director is behind this incredible range of space-age furniture

Hervet Manufacturier is Paris-based furniture brand co-founded by cousins Cédric and Nicolas Hervet. Some of you may recognise the names of one of the cousins… Cédric was Daft Punk’s creative director.

The designs of Hervet Manufacturier pieces are unique and stylish, taking inspiration from mid-century modernism. For example, the cousins looked to the angular design of classic wedge cars that many of us had pictures of on our walls when we were young such as the Lotus Esprit and the DeLorean DMC-12. Another example of the space-age grooviness used to inspire their design is the incredibly stylish Platinum foosball table, which was inspired by the pair’s childhood memories of the space like toys they played with and imagined.

The items are produced in small quantities to ensure the very highest standards for each and every piece they make. All of the pieces included in this stunning collection are truly mermerising pieces of art in their own right.

The Esprit and Platinum (shown above) are just two beautiful offerings that are available in the Hervet Manufacturier catalogue. You can order any of the available pieces via the brand’s website. Each piece is handmade and will no doubt turn heads of even the most discerning interior design conscious.
