Releasing music for over a decade now, and praised as one of the most unique producers coming out of Berlin, Daniel Steinberg is well and truly a legend in the dance world. The ever changing nature of the dance industry requires long-standing producers to grow, adapt and further build on their sound to stay at the top of their game – and that is exactly what Steinberg has done. Over the years Daniel has remixed work from Jan Driver, Jamie Anderson, Sascha Braemer, Oliver Dollar and he’s been remixed by the likes of Roman Fluegel, Derrick Carter, 808 State, Crazy P, Paul Johnson, Nick Holder and DJ W!LD to name a few.
Commanding respect in every facet of the word, Steinberg’s most recent work is a four-track EP written with fellow Berlin legend Oliver Dollar. The ‘Another Gal EP’ dropped less than a month ago and was signed to Arms & Legs. Playful, heavy and sometimes a little strange, the release spans from house, tech house to techno all without missing a single beat of excellence.
Club trends come and go, but Daniel Steinberg has been a constant creative force in electronic music for well over a decade. One of Berlin’s most celebrated house & techno practitioners, Steinberg is a dance floor specialist with an ear for infectious hooks and addictive grooves.
He’s connected with some of the most well known names in electronic music, having remixed everyone from Oliver Dollar, Jan Driver & Jamie Anderson to Sascha Braemer. His own productions have been remixed by Roman Fluegel, Derrick Carter, 808 State, Crazy P, Paul Johnson, Nick Holder, DJ W!LD to name but a few.
Steinberg’s early output arrived on Jesse Rose’s Front Room label with a string of releases including the Latin house hit ‘Bailando’ and his debut album ‘Shut up’. The focus shifted in 2011 to his own Arms & Legs imprint through which he released his subsequent albums ‘Treptow’ and ‘Left-Handed’ and club classics ‘Joy & Happiness’ and ‘Let Me Down’ that was re-released on Defected with a chart topping remix from Tube & Berger.
His DJing has been similarly heralded having built a reputation as an artist who delivers serious fun to the dance floor. Daniel has played peak-time slots across the globe including Panorama Bar Berlin, Rex Club Paris, Baum Bogota, DC310 Mexico City, Razzamatazz Barcelona, Wire Festival Japan, Fusion Festival Germany.
