As Decoded Magazine reaches a milestone, celebrating its 10th anniversary this September, the publication is preparing to unveil a refreshed editorial direction, enriched content, and an exciting lineup of artists and events. This significant anniversary marks a decade of bringing underground music, culture, and lifestyle content to our dedicated readers.
Over the past ten years, Decoded Magazine has established itself as an underground source for in-depth features, exclusive interviews, and insightful reviews in the realms of electronic music and culture. The magazine has continuously evolved, adapting to the dynamic world of music and its ever-changing landscape.
The upcoming editorial transformation promises to take Decoded Magazine to new heights. This fresh approach aims to encapsulate the evolving trends in music, art, and culture, providing readers with a richer, more exciting experience.
Expect a wealth of new content that delves deeper into the stories behind the music. From detailed artist profiles and industry insights to trend analyses and cultural critiques, we will offer a diverse array of articles that engage and inform. Moreover, Decoded Magazine is excited to announce collaborations with a host of new artists, bringing fresh perspectives and voices to its pages.
From our Editor
“We started the name Decoded Magazine, actually a year after, for those that know, it was under another name “This is Progressive”ย ย After a trip to Ibiza, chatting to Pacha, Space, Bora Bora, we quickly came back from a hedonistic few weeks and changed our name, with feedback, we opened up our editorial direction, collaborationsย and who we cover. Our goal was to fuck off the Mixmags, the DJ Mag’s, and the mainstream EDM rubbish that was coming out, we achieved it and always supported the underground. But, like any publication, we fell into the trap of being a tad generic, not always, but we know we did. We apologise for it, we know we can do better.
We are moving back to the underground, the roots of music, the up-and-comers, the ones that put on parties for a 100, the ones that love music, where it started. A voice, a platform, a collaboration. Back to the Old Skool! Let’s start a new generation, let us support it, from Indie Electronic, through to the producer in the bedroom, back where we started”
In addition to the revamped editorial content and team, Decoded Magazine will be hosting a series of exclusive events to celebrate its anniversary and new direction. These exclusive events promise aim to be unique, immersive experiences, featuring live performances, artist showcases, and interactive sessions. Subscribers will receive the first invitations to these highly anticipated gatherings.
While the new team at Decoded Magazine finalises these changes, you can continue to read our content and we will be driving a go-slow approach to uploading over the next few weeks. Our current features, interviews, and reviews remain available.
