Decoded Residents Radio presents Real Gone Kid

Music nerds are a strange breed. Whether its the internet, dusty music stores, or even their girlfriends parents music collections, they are always searching. Never content with their own vast collections of music much of which they rarely play, the music nerd is as much at home in a noisy night club as they are in quiet contemplation with headphones on staring at the mid week rain through their bedroom window. Real Gone Kid is a music nerd.

Before Decoded started, A&R Director, Simon Huxtable ran a successful podcast for new and established artists covering many forms of electronic music. No slouch on the decks himself, he has DJed at some of the countries best venues, but prefers these days to work from the shadows.

Other than his A&R role Simon has been responsible for writing some of the most successful articles in Decoded Magazine including What is Progressive House?, his informative yet direct rant at Stacey Dooley on her ill informed report on extacy, and countless album reviews including the latest offering from Mobilee; Lee van Dowski’s ‘Cerca Trova‘.
