Decoded Sundays presents Skeleton Army

Skeleton Army aka John Morrow started releasing music in his teens. Signing to the now legendary Moving Shadow as a member of drum & bass pioneers Foul Play alongside Steve Bradshaw and Steve Gurley, the trio released a slew of influential and much loved tracks, but are probably best known for their remix of Omni Trio’s ‘Renegade Snares’, now considered a genre defining classic.

After two Foul Play albums, John branched out from drum & bass to produce breaks and house under several aliases, most notably his releases on Cellar Door as Johnny Halo. In recent times, John has been working under his Skeleton Army alias, putting out his own brand of breakbeat infused house music. This Spring/Summer sees new releases on Something Different Records and sister label Different Attitudes, as well as an EP on Tom Budden’s forward thinking ALiVE label, dropping in June.
