With recent releases on Selador, Noir, Suara, Hive Audio, Tulipa and Sullivan Room, Dave Seaman, one of true the legends of electronic house music, is on a creative roll.

A globally respected DJ for over 25 years, he’s played in over 80 countries around the world and remains an exceptional artist who is always looking to the future. His label together with Steve Parry, Selador Recordings has been one of the most exciting labels around since its inception 2 years ago, releasing many different colours of house and techno and in this current world of limited shelf life, ever-diminishing attention spans and fast-moving, here-today-gone-tomorrow disposable club culture, it is the mark of true talent and dedication that Dave Seaman is still at the forefront of electronic music.

25+ years DJ experience, still loving DJ-ing like he’s just started. Frisky Radio monthly show, runs Selador Recordings (with Dave Seaman), Is the head honcho at SMP3 Music Promo and SMP3 Music Management.

There are DJs that are instantly recognisable because of their standing in the scene, their visibility on social media or the wacky things they do, and then there are equally talented, immensely passionate people who prefer to work off the radar, people like Steve Parry.

A working DJ since the age of 15, Steve has amassed a wealth of musical knowledge and honed some serious DJ skills over his time working as manager of the world famous 3 Beat records, a 3 year residency at Cream in Liverpool and a host of headlining gigs across the globe. As a radio host, his Red Zone show ran for 10 years on Juice FM featuring the hottest new music and regular world class DJ guests. His new show on Frisky radio continues in that vein delivering the best new music around.

As a promoter Steve has had much success. Firstly with his legendary ‘Alderaan’ nights which ran from ’97 – 2001 in a room above the infamous Lemon Lounge helped to shape the very scene Liverpool has become known for. Steve’s attention to detail and crowd focused guest selections has built a solid and lasting reputation in his hometown and far beyond.

These days Steve is mostly found working on his company – SMP3 Music Management. where he sources music for a diverse range of DJs including Sasha, Just Be, Sander Kleinenberg and many others. SMP3 also has a promo mail out service which regularly features tracks from labels as far ranging as Bedrock, Sudbeat, mircoCastle and Sprout.

At Berlin we invest a lot of time not only in featuring music from ze German capital and Germany but also focusing on the talent in our own city right here in Brighton. Tom Luka is an amazing DJ and Producer with shades of Nu Disco , Silky House and Tech House that very few artists play right now. Tom is also the co-owner of local label Horizon Recordings, which follows on the blend of luscious, funky vibes. Tom also recently kickstarted his own night called Missing People with the last event held in February at Mono featuring Ishmael , Ulex and of course himself, with the next one showcasing in Bristol.

Outside of that you can find Tom on the airwaves every Thursday 3-6pm on Codesouth.FM with the Horizon Recordings Radio Show. An amazing talent with a real ear for addictive and foot tapping turntablism.

Markus is the founder of Berlin-Brighton and has become known as ‘Mr Berlin’ around the city. With queues down the street and full venues for every party, Berlin has established itself as one Brighton’s most popular and respected Underground music events.

The night has also been forward thinking in terms of the type of parties (in true Berlin style), with a residency at the Green Door Store as well as alternative parties such as beach terrace parties, pop up parties, studio parties, outdoor Christmas market parties and collabs with other venues in the city.

On the back of that Berlin has enjoyed a successful radio show on Codesouth.FM for the whole of 2016 having now moved over to Trickstar Radio in 2017. Markus is from Germany having moved over to the UK many moons ago and always wanted to bring a slice of his home land to the UK.

Spending his early DJ years in the North West of England playing Trance, House and Tech House in around Manchester, Markus extended his portfolio with gigs elsewhere in the UK and Europe including slots at well known beach bars in Ibiza. Moving to Brighton in 2011, Markus quickly got onto the circuit with residencies for Hed Kandi and having now played at almost all well-known club venues in the city as well as boat parties, pride and other quirky pop up events.

2017 sees Markus bringing more talent over from Berlin to play at the club nights as well as plans to extend the brand into other cities. Equally Markus is focusing on some studio time with some tracks for release later in the year.
