Hypnoteric is the long-awaited debut album from Russian-born DJ and producer Denis A, set for worldwide release on Bedrock Digital on June 16th. Featuring 9 tracks of twisted, dark and brooding house and techno, which encapsulates his current trademark sound and musical direction. Based in Moscow and with numerous releases on his own DAR label, Denis A’s music has fast been gaining support all over the globe. As a rapidly rising name on the underground DJ circuit, Denis is regularly joined behind the decks by the cream of international talent at his DAR Sessions. Denis is also the first Russian DJ to hold a residency in Ibiza and frequently hosts his own label parties under the DAR Sessions flag on the White Isle. He has played huge events across Europe including Love Parade in Germany, Kazantip in Crimea as well as joining John Digweed at the now legendary WMC boat parties.

Having just been announced as the newly appointed Musical Director for Space in Moscow and with his international reputation growing exponentially every month, this year sees a continuous flow of new singles alongside an ever-growing international DJ schedule and regular DAR parties throughout Russia.

The sampler contains 3 of the 9 tracks. Moenjodaro is deep, elegant and hypnotic. Deep string pads drive the track along and sparkly synth touches glisten alongside the vocal snippets. This is a really polished first track and shows the talent of this man. The second track Space Truck notches things up a touch. This is pure Hernan Cattaneo/ Nick Warren fodder. Melodic, musical and utterly beguiling. Once the reverbed stab line gets you, theres no stopping this track. Late night prog at its best and it builds and builds and builds…

Flashback is a more techno sounding affair and totally in line with where Diggers is musically. A tougher, driving bass leads this track and Denis skilfully builds nuanced sweeps and synth lines around it. This is the most immediate of the tracks and will appeal to a wide range of progressive and trance DJs.

Bedrock have done it again!
