Drumsheds adds 120 artists for its first season

Set across a vast  608,000 sq ft of space, DRUMSHEDS will open the doors to its vast warehouse space for the first time in less than six weeks’ time. Promising to be the most impactful cultural centre of its kind in London, DRUMSHEDS’ first season will be a statement series – hosting a dynamic cultural offering for its inaugural 12-show season, rooted in music and the visual arts.

Now, DRUMSHEDS can reveal the full programme of artists joining for this monumental first season, with BICEP, Marcel Dettmann, Marco Carola, Kelly Lee Owens, Loco Dice, Girls Don’t Sync, SHERELLE, DJ EZ, Todd Edwards, DJ Hazard, Dillinja, Daria Kolosova, Cassy, A Little Sound, Hot Since 82, and many more world-class acts announced. Programmed by Broadwick Live, the team behind Printworks, Field Day, Beams, Depot Mayfield and more, the programming reflects the rich sonic diversity and health of the electronic-leaning music movement today.

Spread across DRUMSHEDS’ opening run from October to December, these new names add to an already- impressive selection of internationally revered names and brand partners announced in July. La Discothèque, Piano People + Major League Djz, Más Tiempo presents Skepta and Jammer, Gorgon City, Charlotte De Witte and her label KNTXT, Worried About Henry, Andy C, The Hydra, BuggedOut!, Paradise all make up the initial Autumn Winter season run across each Saturday.

First up from the latest lineup announcements is Elrow Horroween on 28th October, an all-out night of debauchery at DRUMSHEDS from the infamous party brand Elrow. Expect a transformation from head to toe as arguably one of the electronic music world’s most famous gatherings packed with fun and theatrics presents a Halloween edition. In line with their flamboyant motto, this spooky session pulls David Rodigan, Claptone, Conducta, Eats Everything, Solardo, Florentina, Loeca and over 15+ more for a day-to-night Halloween special. Long-standing Broadwick Live associates Worried About Henry take over the epic DRUMSHEDS with a night presented by DnB scene kingpin Andy C. Andy and DRUMSHEDS have curated a mega-selection of artists, DJs, MCs and guests playing all things bass, jungle, DnB and more with Sub Focus, Kanine, A Little Sound, Turno,  and special guests. Worried About Henry fans can also witness a 3-way b2b with legends in the game – DJ Hype, DJ Hazard and Dillinja. MCs will maintain high energy and full vibes.

On a house tip, Jamie Jones’ esteemed Ibiza-based, globally-reaching Paradise can now reveal the elite set of acts joining on 18th November; with Marco Corola, wAFF, Manda Moor, Cassy, Bontan, Lauren Lo Sung, Jasper James, Hot Since 82 and more are all set to play across DRUMSHEDS for this London homecoming of sorts for Jamie, who cut his teeth here as a promoter. Promising to be an unmissable night for any house head, soundtracked by royalty from the genre, this is one not to be missed! Another house and techno-led show comes from Camelphat on the 25th of November, bringing with them a team of affiliates – old and new – including ARTBAT, Agents of Time, Fideles, JOPLYN, Joyce Muniz, Pan-Pot, Recondite, Stephen Bodzin and more, plus Z Room hosted by Konflikt Records.

The Piano People team stepped up at the end of November for the first amapiano event of its size in London, with over 10,000 gathering to see sets from the genre’s finest. Fresh from their regular lock-off annual takeover at Notting Hill Carnival and a sold-out Printworks last year, the team are scheming big things. Dj Maphorisa, DBN Gogo, Kelvin Momo, Musa Keys, TXC, Sino MSolo, Yumbs, Soa Mattrix, Uncle Vinny and Charisse C all make up part of this epic takeover, which will showcase why Amapiano is becoming an integral part of the UK’s clubbing fabric.

Teaming up with power team BICEP for what will be one of the most anticipated shows of the DRUMSHEDS’ season, long-standing and left-leaning music brand The Hydra present their heaviest venture in their 10-year + history. Bicep will present Chroma – an A/V and DJ exploration of techno, breaks and left ball oddities. After playing the last set at the Printworks Closing party, the first outing at DRUMSHEDS will be a continuation of their growth with Broadwick Live. Plus, a selection of the highest calibre of global live acts and DJs join, with Rival Consoles, Clark, SHERELLE, Special Request, Kelly Lee Owens, Sully, Otik, Kessler and more. Starting as a nomadic rave, moving into club spaces then last year selling out five back-to-back dates at Printworks, The Hydra has continued to innovate and champion underground sounds from the worlds of bass, breaks, house, techno, jungle and more.

Another long-standing Broadwick affiliate, Charlotte De Witte announces the bill for her much-loved techno-leaning soiree KNTXT, with Antonio De Angelis, Chris Liebing, Daria Kolosova, Rebekah, SORAYA and more, plus Reinier Zonneveld with an immense live show. Closing out on December 16th is Más Tiempo with Skepta and Jammer, which promises to be a roadblock show featuring an extended squad of selectors and MCs. DJ EZ, Loco Dice, Todd Edwards, HoneyLuv, SYREETA, Kitty Amor, Skepta Jammer themselves and so many more, promising to be a mega family reunion packed with house, garage, grime and more.

And of course, there’s plenty more that’s already been announced to recap on: As the opening party, La Discothèque is no doubt set to impress, the all-singing, all-dancing disco party packed-out with the spangles, sequins, dancers and fun of epic proportions. Headlining will be La Discothèque Orchestra, made up of two of disco’s most formidable queens; Evelyn ‘Champagne’ King and Jocelyn Brown, plus Kenny Dope, Derrick Carter, Hercules & Love Affair, DJ Sneak, Norman Jay MBE, Sophie Lloyd, SNO, Bestley and more all delivering an eclectic mix of disco, funk, house and Balearic.

Gorgon City will be headlining on 14th October, the duo riding a wave of UK dance acts inspired by the house and electronica roots. They’ll bring talent old and new, including peers Armand Van Helden, Oden & Fatzo, plus newly announced Danny Howard, Deetron, SG Lewis and more added to the solid bill. The weekend after, Bugged Out! arrives on the 21st of October with a packed fun-filled bill of BO! Friends and family including the electro-crossover dance act Hot Chip, and the ever-iconic Orbital playing live. Catchy, funk-laced anthems come from Basement Jaxx, plus there’s DJ Paulette, Erol Alkan, Miss Kittin and more.

Each of the 12 shows will transform the space to match each brand partner’s standalone personality and sound, using top-spec lighting shows, visuals, dance performances and more. With audience experience at the heart of the Broadwick Live ethos, DRUMSHEDS will be a chance to explore creativity within these shows.

A next step in the Broadwick evolution, DRUMSHEDS will become a hybrid home for creativity in London and sees the team cement their place as a leader in the events world. Already behind some of the UK’s most impressive experience-led brands including Printworks, Beams, Field Day, Depot Mayfield and more, Broadwick is driven to create real impact through pure and powerful live experiences in unique spaces, also building homes to communities and culture.

Located in North London’s industrial Meridian Water zone, which is only 4 minutes from Tottenham Hale (Victoria Line) DRUMSHEDS will be easily accessible via tube, rail and buses.
