93 Feet East is undeniably one of London’s most important venues when you think of underground electronic music. It has played host to some of the biggest brands in the business and been the source of much incredible daytime and nighttime parties over the years. When a venue has such a rich history and deep roots in the scene, it takes a certain level of party to live up to the expectation of regular punters. Eclipsar has carved a reputation for itself by bringing a high-level of credible underground artists to the capital for some time now, with previous guests like Yousef, Ben Rau, Subb-An, Martin Buttrich, Timo Maas and many more.
As they take a step into their third year of what will no doubt be another period of forward-thinking programming and incredible music provision, they return to one of East London’s most-popular haunts with what could just be their best lineup to date.
Fresh off the back of launching her new Residency at Pacha Ibiza, Kwench Records leading lady Cassy heads the bill with her mesmeric blend of house, techno and disco. A name steadily boiling towards the top of the pan is that of Jesse Calosso, championed by the likes of Loco Dice, Seth Troxler and The Martinez Brothers for his bumpy, gritty, house-inspired flavours; he is joined by frequent production partner and Cuttin’ Headz favourite, Jean Pierre.
Cirillo is one of the finest representations of pure Italian techno sound. A Circoloco regular, with a career spanning over three decades, who will no doubt bring the sounds of DC10 out to play with him. New kid on the block, AJ Christou, is already becoming a hot topic of conversation due to his impressive levels of production. Another firm favourite in the Cuttin’ Headz camp and one of the next wave of uptempo, raw sounding artists making a real influential dent on the scene at present.
All of the above are joined by the likes of Unorthodox, Pat Wilson, Separated Brothers, Larry London, Camino G, Hart & Neenan, Taylor (UK) and more across two rooms on 29th June at 93 Feet East. Expect a mass of underground house, techno and everything in between as some of the most exciting, on-end names in the business combine to make one hell of a lineup at one of the capital’s best intimate event spaces.
