Electric island announce Labour Day line up

ELECTRIC ISLAND
LABOUR DAY

ADAM BEYER LOCO DICE

RECONDITE FRANK & TONY AND NITIN

Electric Island: “All good things must come to an end.

In 1374, Geoffrey Chaucer immortalized these bittersweet sentiments. It is a natural part of life – like the changing of the seasons, the receding of the storms, or the death of ones we hold dear. For Torontonians on September 7th at Hanlan’s Point on Toronto Island, it is merely the end of a summer series of events that has gained recognition internationally. It represents the end of Summer, and a transition to the beautiful colours of Autumn.

Hosted by our friends at LCPR, Decoded Magazine North America will be on site to capture the moments, the vibe, the music, and the people that make the last Electric Island of 2015 unforgettable. We highly recommend this one to anybody sitting on the fence. Take a peak at the lineup here.

On Monday, September 7th, Labour Day long weekend, Toronto Techno and deep house fans alike, are in for a treat with this final heavy hitter line-up. For the deep house fans, No.19 label boss and Toronto’s own Nitin brings the deep, sexy, techvibes to Hanlan’s Point for his 3rd year playing Electric Island.

Moving into New York house territory, Scissor & Thread artists Frank & Tony will make some magic with their eclectic style. These guys are masters in their craft of spinning original dubbed out, indie, deep house. Switching the gears to techno, Recondite makes his first Island appearance! The Berlin based producer is best known for his simplistic yet distinct production styles, which have been heavily praised by the likes of Richie Hawtin. Conducting unique modern techno, Recondite will have the crowd in his hold this coming Electric Island.

Next up, the hip-hop inspired techno maestro Loco Dice will bring a powerful force that cannot be reckoned with. Desolat label boss makes his first ever appearance at Electric Island-so expect utter madness! Lastly, Drumcode King Adam Beyer brings the big-room techno to the great outdoors. A humbled leader of techno, Adam Beyer continues to stay ahead of the game. We also look forward to a nice warm up from local support Jamie Kidd, Terence Kissner and Members Only!
