Eli & Fur share their favourite places to eat, drink whiskey and soak up the views in London

Since breaking into the scene in 2013, with their debut release ‘You’re So High’ reaching number one on Hype Machine, their infectious electronic melodies and moody vocals captivated some key players in the industry. Flowing consistently on high level labels and collaborations with pioneers Erick Morillo and Santé, the duos notable success has not only seen them play at acclaimed events such as SW4, Coachella, and this year Printworks, Eli & Fur will return to their tantalising imprint, NYX Music with their ‘Coming Back’ track, also featuring a spellbinding remix from Maya Jane Coles, releasing on 15th February.

Ahead of the release of ‘Coming Back’ (pre-order here) and their performance for ANTS @ Printworks on 16th March the duo share some of their favourite London hotspots to eat, drink, dance and take in the sights.

Cafe / Restaurant / Food Tip
London has classic restaurants, we would have to say our all time favourite would have to be J Sheeky, it has amazing seafood and a great vibe. We love Eat Tokyo for sushi and Honest Burger does an insane Vegan burger that you can also get on Uber Eats if you are having a night in.

Bar / Drinking Spot (not a club)
The Globe off Portobello Road has been around forever, they always have a good selection of genres from; Reggae, Dance Hall and RnB. It’s a good spot for drinking with mates and having a dance.

Museum / Sites / Cultural Activity
The Natural History Museum is one of our favourite museums in the world, we have been numerous times. Especially if you have a fascination with dinosaurs. The architecture is beautiful, and is always the one thing we would recommend for people visiting or living in the city.

Favourite spot to soak up the views / go for a wander
Favourite place in London to get away from the craziness is Battersea Park, I first went there as a kid and still love to walk around there. They have a really good new cafe on the water called Pear Tree Café, the park has lots of little places to explore from gardens and riverside paths. It’s very special.

Hidden Gem
The Vault underneath Milroys Whiskey bar is another bar we love. You would never stumble upon it unless you knew it was there. If you love low lighting and a choice of hundreds of Whiskeys it’s the perfect setting.
