We’re in for a very early summer this year with the second edition of Lost & Found’s; We Are Lost Festival taking place on the 18th of May! The way Guy J’s brand is evolving is magnificent to see and he’s taking his assembly of like minded artists with to create something special. After a very successful edition last year in Amsterdam everyone has decided that this should happen again for everyone to enjoy! This time with a different set of artists..
The label sound is very specific and has this constant feel we recognise in the selected artists. For this edition Guy J invites some of the newcomers in the scene like 1979 and rising label star Kasper Koman. Balance is important in everything we do and that’s how this line up is shaped with label regulars Eli Nissan, Guy Mantzur and Henry Saiz weighing in against the less regular German super duo Super Flu. This promises to be one of the highlights in the Lost & Found diary..
Roy Rosenfeld – Rumbala [All Day I Dream]
Once in a while that kind of magic came out and this time from my good friend Roy.
Guy J – Cicada [Lost & Found]
When I drop that bassline through the mix I can feel the dancefloor vibes like I’m dancing in the front of the DJ booth. Another hypnotic bomb from Guy.
Stereo Underground – Little Red Head [Balance Music]
Definitely the best song I’ve heard lately. Beautiful & smart production from Yariv with breath taking vocals of David Sea. A must have for any music lover!!!
Partenaire – Ex-Machina (Paul Baule Remix)
A fantastic track of Berlin-based artist Paul Baule whom I recently discovered. Great melodies and without straying away from the darkness that the track also has, a combination I’m in love with. Also love this tempo and it’ll be a perfect opportunity at We Are Lost Festival to play at this pace to ease people into the undoubtedly great music of the evening and night.
Weird Sounding Dude – Circling Flight
I met WSD in India when I did a few shows there some weeks back. Around that time I also received this great promo. Super cool dude, super cool track. I fell in love with it after listening to it a few times. Also could be a very fitting track for the time, space and place.
Golan Zocher – The Element (Kasper Koman Remix)
Obligatory one by my own hand as I’m gonna play a lot of new work: my latest remix of Golan Zocher’s track The Element which came out last week. I have played this close to the end of sets to bring some emotion into it but I think it’ll also fit nicely into the afternoon set.
Tone Depth – Red Flag [Fryhide]
This track from my friend Anthony (Tone Depth) is always key in my sets, every time I play it I cannot avoid the goosebumps treatment. Very trippy solid tune, one of my favourites for sure.
Brynjoifur – Fluxx [Natura Sonoris]
When I was a child I used to exchange a lot of Football player cards with my school mates, everyone wanted to fill up their albums! Nowadays I changed a bit my habits and so I started doing this with tracks with some DJ friends. This one was one of happiest win ever! Sick Italo, progressive futuristic piece of music.
1979 – Once I Saw The Sky [Fryhide]
I don’t want to seem egocentric hahaha this is really just one of my favourite tracks of the last two years. I use it a lot to set the vibe in my sets, but it makes me feel safe even before going to bed. Inspired by the beautiful landscapes of the Netherlands, ‘Once I Saw The Sky’ is a fundamental track in 1979′ musical archive.
Pablo Fierro – Tel Aviv To Casablanca
An amazing track that come out on the infamous Secret Weapons compilation earlier this year. The dreamy arpeggio really does things to me, with a groove that’s very unique! This is one one in a million record for me. Looking forward to playing this!
Budakid – Adieu X (Franky & Sandrino Remix)
A stunning remix from Franky & Sandrino! Budakids original was already a great track but this remix does it for me. Goosebumps!
Talee – Dust Crops (Out 13th of May)
A new original track coming out May 13th coming with a Willscape remix. This track in particular is a bit more driving then my other music, which I like for a change! Here’s the preview.
