Closing the curtains on a year that opened the world up to elrow beyond its Barcelona base, the crew continue to set a new gold standard with five parties this New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Continuing to reflect the rave renaissance with numerous festival takeovers, their Space Ibiza residency and an array of global club showcases, the eclectically colourful brand will now spread across Spain, Amsterdam, Italy and Dubai to celebrate New Year’s 2017.

The festive grand tour will countdown New Year’s Eve in the dockland warehouse of Scheepsbouwloods, Amsterdam, the Eastern oasis of Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE, as well as an unannounced bash at Cocorico, Italy. Madrid’s first-choice Fabrik will then push elrow into the month ahead, before coming home to roost at the elrow HQ of Barcelona.

Counting down to midnight a continent apart, Dubai’s Ibizan outpost of Blue Marlin makes for a perfect collaboration. Boldly carving out a pleasure-seekers paradise on the desert beachfront, this secreted-away sanctuary will with elrow offer up an otherworldly experience under the stars. Bearing the banner into UAE is Dennis Ferrer, bringing suitably eccentric tastes from an iconic career and his cutting-edge Objektivity Records – in fiercely subjective style. Out of the second wave of Detroit in support come the equally personal Stacey Pullen and riotous resident De La Swing.

Elsewhere the Louvre-like Cocorico of Riccione is the site of a show that is testament to the soaring rise of this party troupe, packing out a 6,000-capacity space with as rich a heritage – though no contest at a mere 27 years old!

Finishing in fervid form, New Year’s Day signals an interstellar 2017. After a year rising to intercontinental status, renowned elrow celebrate in the Spanish capital and at home in Catalan. Promising one of their most captivating shows as they fill the vault-like venue of Fabrik in Madrid, the party is joined by Joseph Capriati, Technasia and Edu Imbernon and more, plus a maverick live set from Minus Records’ Matador. By which time the stage is set for the finale, in no-safer haven than elrow’s own Barcelona club. Hyped up by a host of acts from the coop: Seth Troxler, Marco Faraone, Toni Varga and more. Back to where it began in the breeding play-ground of this, the world’s best party concept, for a new chapter: ‘Prince of Zamunda’.
