Exclusive Premiere: INVŌKER & Ondulation – Your Feels

Paris-based INVŌKER tempers subtle soundscapes with the melodic warmth of house on the ear-pleasing cut ‘Your Feels’ featuring Ondulation, adding a sense of overlapping textures and deeply affecting hybrid beats, lifted from the new compilation series 2CRY4, out through 2DIY4 the sister label of DIYNAMIC, founded by acclaimed DJ / producer, Solomun.

“Your Feels was written by me and my good friend Ondulation aka Luke Anger in the spirit of true musical creation. It was not planned, nor carefully thought about. After an evening session of drinking Ricard in Luke Anger’s Parisian studio, the two of us started to jam on the multiple instruments present in this creative space. After a couple of minutes of playing, we really found our vibe around this synthetic bass line and started building around that specific element. We added acoustic basses, guitar riffs, synths, and my own vocals! As a matter of fact, this is the first track to ever feature my voice, I hope there will be more in the future. As a final note: In a lot of ways, the way this track was created reflects what the track is about. It is about letting go: let go of your feelings, let go of planning, and let go of the stress of achieving. Sometimes it’s just better to go with the natural flow of things..” – INVŌKER

The final instalment in a three-part series, Part One and Two released earlier this year and featured Berlin artist Novaa, classically trained Sydney-based producer Oliver Henry with Keepa, fellow Australian experimental producer Ghostlike featuring MADAMi, Ben Beezy, Aldebaran & Filippo Nardini and Garud feat. James Buttery.

Nine previously unheard tracks of gentle indie-electronica with drive are bound together on these releases to put the listener into a certain state: contemplative. A very dreamy and unintrusive sound that shows the inherent beauty of melancholia. The stirring voices, surrounded by atmospheric soundscapes, immediately paints pictures of romance, heartache and sometimes hope in your mind.
