Kevin Knapp returns to Desert Hearts Black with his new single “I Didn’t Know”, an ode to unexpected connections and personal growth.
Driven by a thick, punchy kick and a bouncy bassline, the track immediately pulls you in. But it’s more than just a club weapon. On top of the groove rides Kevin’s unmistakable voice. Charismatic and raw as ever, he delivers lyrics that reflect on the kind of encounter that changes you. Someone who helps you see a side of yourself you didn’t know was there.
Gliding over the rhythmic foundation are dreamy strings and sharp snaps that keep the vibe elevated, balancing introspection with pure, unfiltered fun. “I Didn’t Know” captures the sweet spot between emotional depth and dancefloor energy, an embodiment of what makes Kevin Knapp one of house music’s most compelling storytellers. With this release, Knapp adds another gem to the Desert Hearts Black catalog.
