Summer has arrived early at European label Submarine Vibes, who return with delightful deep house track Sunshine by London based producer MockBeat featuring vocals by malbeku (Belma Zvizdic), the release contains stellar remixes by Mike Tohr and Deepjack.
With names like Jonas Saalbach, Addex, Kurt Baggaley and Jelly For The Babies already on the label, Submarine Vibes’ aims to become a world force are well under way. MockBeat’s original opens up with deep subby kicks cutting through a glitchy percussive mist. As the vocal breaks, Belma’s angelic refrain lifts the track up amazingly. Jazzy stabs and a rubbery bass complete the track making it utterly danceable and rememberable.
On remix duty, Deepjack uses his unique blend of Nu Disco sounds to incorporate some bluesy saxophone which makes it perfect for all the DJs planing to play at the beach or terrace parties this summer. While Belgian producer Mike Tohr offers a darker progressive take on proceedings.
MockBeat – Sunshine is available from all good music retailers on 23rd May.
