Goldie and Fallen Tree 1Hundred proudly present the new single from London singer-songwriter, Natalie Duncan, ‘Silver Gun’, remixed by Drum & Bass leading light, Lenzman.

For the recording of new songs for Fallen Tree 1Hundred, releasing every few months throughout 2022 and into 2023, Natalie teamed up with musician friends close to her heart – Long-time collaborators Richard Spaven on drums and Alan Mian on bass, along with synth programmer Laurence Jepson, guitarist Rashaan Brown and up and coming producer/engineer in the studio, Chris Hewitt.

Amsterdam-based Drum & Bass producer Lenzman remixes Silver Gun for the dancefloor with his trademark soulful touch and classic jungle groove, lifting the song to new ground. The remix is a fine example of where Lenzman sits in the global D’n’B scene, championing a sound which rises above trends and pushes the genre musically forward. Testament to his success are multiple Lenzman album releases on Goldie’s Metalheadz label while his own forward-thinking The North Quarter label encapsulates Hip Hop, Soul and Jazz influences to deliver multi-genre releases in unconventional formats.

“This song started life as a dark-sounding synth motif with a quick drum loop I made. With drummer Richard Spaven then adding his own signature drum style to the final take, it resulted in an even weirder, cooler, rhythmic sound. Adding Alan Mian’s dirty Synth bass parts and layering the other synths to thicken the sonics, I feel like I’m really living my Radiohead fantasy here! The lyrics are empowering, and I wanted the vocal to be really close-mic’d for an intimate sound…” – Natalie Duncan

‘Silver Gun’ is released on 24th February 2023 on Goldie’s Fallen Tree 1Hundred label.
