Faithless release ‘I Need Someone’ Video

Faithless present the video for the second single to be taken from their celebrated album ‘All Blessed’ – the sublime and enveloping ‘I Need Someone’ (ft. Nathan Ball & Caleb Femi), released on BMG

‘I Need Someone’ quickly became a Faithless fan favourite on ‘All Blessed’. Featuring the former Young Poet Laureate Caleb Femi, whose rich tones act as a great counterpoint to Nathan Ball’s mesmerising vocal, the soaring ‘I Need Someone’ is an atmospheric, poignant ode to loneliness and a plea for connection.

Filmed last year in Los Angeles, the striking video for ‘I Need Someone’ presents the feelings of isolation and solitude that many have experienced over the last 12 months, along with the stark contrast between rich and poor, and the racial inequality which resulted in the Black Lives Matter movement.

Faithless said: Proud to present the soaring ‘I Need Someone’ which finds ‘Synthesizer’ vocalist Nathan Ball lending Faithless his lush emotive melodies once again, this time alongside an eloquent rap delivered by the acclaimed Nigerian born, London bred poet Caleb Femi. This plaintive cry for human connection is set on a wide screen musical backdrop of kinetic house beats, moody rumbling bass, Afrobeat inspired guitar and Blissy’s euphoric synths – music for the heart, soul and dancefloor.”

‘I Need Someone’ is the second single released from Faithless’s first studio LP in 10 years, ‘All Blessed’, out now on BMG and winning rave reviews from press and fans alike. Featuring in several Best Albums Of 2020 lists, ‘All Blessed’ charted at No.6 in the Official Album Chart and No.1 in the Dance Album Chart and No.1 in the Independent Album Chart
