The word anthem is often misrepresented by music journalists to add a certain sparkle to a track, but in this case anthem is exactly the right word to describe Olive’s seminal trance track from the late 90s. Lovingly re-imagined by Amsterdam based DJ/producer Patrice Bäumel, it gets the hairs on the back of our necks standing to attention from the first beat!

Patrice Bäumel is an internationally renowned DJ and producer currently living in Amsterdam. He was a long-running resident DJ at Trouw Amsterdam, one of Europe’s leading venues for electronic music, running his “Black Magic” and “HiFi” nights at the club. Bäumel infuses his productions and DJ sets with energy and a sense of adventure, creating a sound that satisfies the mind as well as the body. He calls it “techno music for grown-ups”. Trademark productions like “Roar”, “Mike Tyson” or more recently, “The Woods” are perfect examples of that philosophy.
