Pacho and Pepo are well known artists within the Eastern European electronic music scene. They began their music career over 20 years ago and cover a wide range of styles including deep house and tech house. Here the duo release the “From The East With Love EP” on Cloning Sound which will be the labels 28th release.

First up on this release is “From The East With Love” which is a full on hi hat laden tech house number. The track has great funky groove to it and is filled with some superb drums that add that crummy tribal feel to the track. The track makes good use of a wicked saxophone solo that weaves in and out of the tracks and throughout the breaks. Really feeling this track and would certainly move those groove request dance floors.

Next up we have “In My Mind” which is of a similar style to the opening track. This time though the track has a slightly darker groove to it and one I must admit I do prefer. The track uses some pitched down male vocal snippets throughout that work well and do add a certain darkness to the track.

The final track on the EP is my personal favourite. Again another tech house groover that makes very good use of classic vocal from South Street Players “Who Keeps Changing Your Mind”. A track i could certainly imagine the likes of Yousef wiring his magic to when behind the decks at Circus. I really like the squelchy baselines used in this track and the effect hits used.

If you like your groovy tech house you will like this release. Great tracks for those house nights that require a bit more thought from their grooves. Also you can catch the duo at the Egg Club in London on 29th November.
