Global Underground are proud to present a milestone release to mark its 30th anniversary: the sensational THIRTY. Thirty artists, thirty brand new exclusive tracks, to celebrate thirty years of bringing you the very best electronic music. THIRTY features some of dance music’s most dynamic artists: Guy J, Nicky Elisabeth, Yulia Niko, HotLap, Spencer Brown and a very special collab between the legendary Nadia Ali and Frankey & Sandrino. Get your copy Friday 25th September.
Thirty years ago, DJs were shadowy, anonymous figures spinning tunes in darkened DJ booths to hardcore clubbers. Then, in 1996 a record label called Global Underground came along and everything changed …The concept was simple: Global Underground would take DJs to play a party in one of the most exotic clubbing locations on Earth, then capture the night and the visit to the city in music.
Global Underground were the first record label to bring the DJ out of that shadowy world of the DJ booth and into the limelight. They have been systematically tracking the meteoric rise of the Superstar DJ ever since.

Andy Horsfield (GU Founder) tells us more: “Three decades ago, when I came up with the crazy idea of representing the true nature of global underground DJ culture by launching the GU label, I could never have imagined that we would have been fortunate enough to experience such a long and storied history that we have.
With the release of our landmark anniversary THIRTY album I was determined to look forward not back, so we set about commissioning 30 brand new exclusive pieces of music from 30 of our favourite contemporary electronic artists.
I’m so proud of every single track featured on this milestone album for GU and offer huge thanks to all the artists that are involved, and of course to our loyal fanbase and GU community worldwide, see you on the dancefloor! “
