It is that time of year again where the sun sets early, the nights get colder, we retreat to our heated homes and brave the cold mornings on our way to work, but it isn’t all that bad, it is the season of snow festivals in the Northern Hemisphere and we have compiled our Top 7 events to get you out of the house and onto the slopes. We have placed these in no particular order as all are equally as good as each other.

Rise Snow Festival 2014
A trio of Europe’s biggest music & party promoters are behind the newly launched Rise Festival. Ibiza Rocks, Wasteland Ski and Rough Hill have united to take over the famous resort of Les 2 Alpes for a week-long Winter affair that includes live music from cutting edge artists and DJs playing a series of indoor and outdoor venues. Snowball Winter Festival 2015
On January 31, we dance again in our craziest winter outfits through the heart of our country, for the third winter in a row Snowball Winter Festival returns with music, parties and wintry madness. Along with the festival we dive in the Utrecht park Transwijk, including heated areas with the most delicious winter grooves. As we rush through “The Rough Piste ‘techno, we warm ourselves in the deep- and tech house tunes in Snowball’s’ Snug Hut” and we erupt on house beats in’ t Delighted Forest. If you need a break from many other activities in between then enjoy the campfires with hearty meals and unforgettable winter fun.

The BRITS 2015
Renowned for it’s eclectic mix of live bands and DJ’s, The BRITS 2015 will be hosting a line-up to get the Apres Bar terraces rocking and the BRITS Clubs banging. The BRITS has included the likes of Pendulum, Ben Howard, Rob Da Bank and The Correspondents on its bill in previous years with its 2015 bands and DJ line ups still to be confirmed.

KnockOut Snow Festival 2015
The first and only Croatian music and ski/snow boarding festival, a mystical and playful blend of concerts and snowy joy. The largest Croatian group ski/snowboard party in history. What else to expect when several enthusiasts of skiing/snowboarding and good music from Collegium (Best Youth Agency) caught creativity and connection with so far over 7500 people having partied over previous years to acts such as Umek, Freemasons and The Shapeshifters.
