Held in a 17th century Italian villa, TERRAFORMA announces first artists + video documentary

Terraforma remains one of the few festivals that distinguishes itself for it’s intimate and authentic atmosphere, taking pride in it’s quality acts and concept as well as the outstanding location in the gardens of this beautiful Italian Villa from the 17th century. With 40% of the participants last year coming from abroad, Terraforma is an attractive international destination for music lovers.

Now we unveil the first 4 acts for 2017: The acclaimed British producer Andrew Weatherall, the pianst and composer Suzanne Ciani, the Arpanet project of Gerald Donald (Drexciya, Dopplereffekt) of Detroit, and the master of ambient music Laaraji. Four sound explorers who, in their own respective genre and style, have influenced generations whilst representing an essential reference in experimental electronic music. Plus an artist residency from Invernomuto and Francesco Cavaliere (2016 performer) who is the designer behind Terraforma’s 2017 artwork etitled “Carte Mutaforma”
