Onedotsixtwo continues to showcase some of the finest progressive artists through and the label now welcomes Ian Dillon, the highly respected UK-based DJ/Producer, with his debut, ‘Lucid Dream’ EP. Completing this outstanding package is a remix of ‘Lucid Dream’ from those Argentine masters of groove and emotion, Oliver & Tom, who make a very quick return to onedotsixtwo following their debut ‘Penny’ EP release.
Ian Dillon’s opening ‘Lucid Dream’ is an immediate dive into melodic heaven with its distinctive hypnotic charm riding on a perfectly subtle and wonderfully enticing percussive groove, it is, quite simply, an utterly gripping musical opener. His ‘Code Five Red’ track is a dirtier proposition, built on a mesmerizing percussion and bass-led groove with jostling layers of spellbinding synth and melodic hooks, it is very different but equally as strong as a track.
Renowned for his highly individual style that fuses dark driving basslines with otherworldly melodies, soundscapes, and atmospheric ambience, the ‘Lucid Dream’ EP is a stunning onedotsixtwo debut from Ian Dillon. It is no wonder that the UK-based DJ/Producer has previously released on the likes of Sudbeat, Global Underground, Asymmetric, Pro B tech, Stripped Digital, Modern Agenda, and many other respected labels.
