Imaginarium presents Christmas and New Year Line ups at The Rainbow Venues

The Rainbow have really shaken things up with their bold and ambitious Imaginarium series so far this year, with many great parties already lodged firmly in the memory. The Christmas period is just as exciting, though, with many special events all lined up before two huge and final blow outs on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day sends everyone off in style. Brands like Do Not Sleep, Seedy Sonics, Snowbombing and more are all involved along the way.

One special event was the last ever FACE party, which made great use of the many different areas of the Rainbow venues. The Imaginarium is about more than just the music though, and also offers an exciting cultural and creative movement, delicious street food, exciting art and original design.

As for the Christmas events, Sven Vath brings a special guest for Cocoon in the Warehouse on the 19th December, whilst local boy and VIVa boss Steve Lawler comes home for a big shindig on Boxing Day with Skream and Detlef and Anek also play.

The big one is then on New Year’s Eve with 2:31, Seedy Sonics and Snowbombing all coming together for a party that take place in the Arena, Warehouse and Blackbox with Hannah Wants, DJ Zinc, Low Steppa, Catz & Dogz, Ben Pearce, Josh Butler, SPR, Culture Shock and MCs Lowqui all playing.

After that, New Year’s Day finds a massive two roomed event with The Blackbox and Ibiza party Do Not Sleep in charge. Playing for the former are Martin Buttrich, Derrick Carter, Adam Shelton, Robert Dietz and more, then Dennis Ferrer, Darius Syrossian, Sante and Sidney Charles as well as Dungeon Meat LIVE, Richy Ahmed and more all play a sure to be magical session that that will end this groundbreaking series in style.

Many musical bases are covered across the sprawling programme and equally warren-like venue complex, so be sure to get on down at least once between now and the New Year.
