When the huge techno duo Kaiserdisco lock horns with the super talented Fabio Neural then you know that something special is going to thunder through your speakers. This release on cool Naples-based label Unrilis, entitled ‘Stay With Me’, is no exception.
Kicking off with the track that shares the same name as the EP, ‘Stay With Me’ is a real industrial bruiser of a track. Thunderous tribal drums, lovely vocals that sway in and out, clunky stabs and a wicked arpeggio dominate proceedings in the early stages of the track. The track then hits the main break with the vocal still drifting in and out and the arp getting bigger with more space being added into the arpeggio which begins to engulf your senses.
The track then drops into the main break with the now distinctive vocal of ‘Try to keep up with me’ which echo around a menacing arpeggiated synth which builds and jitters around and then drops you straight back into a pounding, sweltering track. An absolute beast of a track that I can see doing the damage at warehouses, festivals and clubs all over!
‘Rush’ is a track that doesn’t mess about! A real sweaty, tribal affair from the get go with a floating vocal that moves around the pounding drum beat. This is a proper sweatbox of a track that I can see it turning dancefloors into saunas. It just pounds along with tribal percussion, shakers and drops to a vocal accompanied by a synth which pitter-patters around and then, bang, straight back into the pulsating madness of sweaty, pounding tribal drums which will happily help you lose yourself in the music. A decent groover of a track that keeps you moving from start to finish.
