Next up on the faultless Sudbeat label we have Kamara and Microvibez. Both are Dutch Techno and Tech House live-acts and producers that are certainly getting reactions from the right quarters of the electronic music world.
First up is the original version of ‘Arina’. The track is a very will layered techno number that is filled with emotion and swagger. Definitely a track for those uplifting moments in a set and one that will be very well received I am sure. The track never really overdoes anything but what it does it does very well and to full effect.
Next up we have the first of the remixes from the mighty Oliver Lieb. He toughens up the beats a lot more and makes the track far pacier than the original version. This is a great dance floor number and will shake a crowd by the scruff of the neck. The track is a little moodier than the original and uses the same keys to full effect. Love the bassline on this track and Oliver creates a great groove and mood.
The second remix and final track on the release sees Microvibes create their own interpretation of the original. In many ways similar to the original in terms of keys, as you might expect but it is a little tougher and more aimed to the dance floor than the original. This is my preferred version on the release and the rhythm and bass reminds me more of a Marco Bailey track. Good work!
If I was to be honest it is probably not my favourite release on Sudbeat but don’t mistake me, it will do the business for many dance floors, and is certainly not a bad release in any sense. I would head for the Microvibes remix personally but the original and Lieb mix really do bring a lot to the table.
