Through his own productions that are always a whirlwind of drive and charming details and his sets where he embeds live elements and continuously transmits passion and love for music he has gained fans in every corner of the world that celebrate his uniqueness and humbleness. For the latest release on his own label Madhouse Records, he has arranged for four great artists to do their own interpretation of four of his tracks that were originally released back in the 90s.

First out is Detroit Swindle’s remix of “Get Out”. Amsterdam based, the duo is known for its extensive live set, and their performances are packed with digital and analog instruments. In addition, the guys are also the founders of the label Heist Recordings. Their remix moves directly into the funky old school groove direction they are loved for, with a 909 smashing through the track together with chord pads and the very distinct vocal.

Hailing from the UK, our second remixer Josh Butler is known for his more tech-oriented style, and he can be found frequently releasing on labels such as Cajual, Viva, and Noir. His version of “I Got That Feeling” also reflects this as it sets in with its tight and catchy groove underlined by a bouncy bassline, creating the perfect frame for the charming dry vocals.

South Korean Peggy Gou is a fairly new name in the electronic music scene, but nevertheless, a force to be reckoned with as she is rumored to be one of the hottest new names around and gains a steadily growing recognition for her dancefloor-oriented music. “I Need You (Peggy Gou Remix)” stays true to the original through the elements of a slightly acidic synth and the strong vocal while really displaying the characteristic soulful housey sound Peggy is known for.

Also, a household name when talking about house and deep house is the last remixer of the collection, Jimpster. Having been a part of the electronic music scene since the 90s, Jimpster is celebrated for his authentic house sound, always keeping it fresh and interesting. With this in mind, it is delightful to hear his beautiful take on “Powder”. Slightly mystified synth melodies meet banging drum work releasing into a high-energy house track with a pumping beat.

This is a very on point release showcasing a variation of talents, both newcomers, and established artists. Kerri Chandler definitely picked the right artists for the job as the result is a wholly sound where each track although having their own characters also reflect the soundscape that Kerri and his label Madhouse Records is known for. In addition, they all give off a distinctly positive vibe and are destined to create some unforgettable moments on dancefloors across the globe.
