Draaimolen has just announced 57 artists for the upcoming edition of Draaimolen Festival 2021 in September. Names such as Carista, DVS1, and LSDXOXO will set foot on the MOB Complex in Tilburg, but also special live concerts by Caterina Barbieri and upcoming talent Mathilde Nobel are planned.
Earlier, the festival announced that they will change their formula this year, with a one-off festival edition of a whopping ten days. A festival of that length asks for an extensive and unique lineup, which certainly is the case with Anz, Objekt, Dasha Rush, Benny Rodrigues, Mama Snake, CEM, and homegrown Julie all on board.
Of course, the iconic never-seen-before back2backs will not be absent this year. In fact, this edition has more b2bs than ever, including Pariah b2b Tammo Hesselink, Paquita Gordon b2b Steffen Bennemann, Carista b2b Mary Lake and their anual ‘secret b2b’. More experimental names such as Eartheater, Interstellar Funk, Aïsha Devi, Nene H and Tilburg-based Coloray are also on the billing with very special, one of a kind live shows. As a cherry on top Draaimolen has already announced this week that craftsman Blawan and their friends from the Dutch label Nous’Klaer will each host a full festival day.
The ten-day series of concert nights and intimate festival days will take place entirely around ‘The Chapel’, a stage that was designed in 2019. Visual artist Heleen Blanken will, in collaboration with Draaimolen, completely transform her design and the entire scenery around it into the perfect backdrop for all the goods for Draaimolen Festival 2021.
The exact dates for all events are: 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 September. More information about tickets and line-up per day will be announced soon.
