66 million girls are not in education, Education will help break the cycle of poverty and change lives. In the words of Malala Yousafzai; “educate a girl and everything changes”

Manchester’s four: four project are doing things differently. In a scene characterised by commercialisation and profit, they are taking a value-led approach to their club-night curations. Rather than spending money on exorbitant DJ fees, four: four’s focus is on providing a platform for talented local musicians and investing their profits into the charities they work with.

Building from the success of their ‘Night for Nepal’ at Kosmonaunt, four:four are holding an eclectic all-female DJ showcase entitled ‘SHE’ for the charity One Girl. SHE is being held on Saturday 13th February 2016 at the visually stunning venue Texture in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. The night will host a smorgasbord of musical styles from jungle, house, italo disco and techno; celebrating individuality, self-expression and diversity.

The night will be headlined by Manchester techno goddess, Gemma Furbank and supported by Marianne MWX (Magic Waves), Meat Free DJs Lucy Ironmonger and Alice Woods, Lil Fee from Manchester band The Whip, the first lady of Grand Central Records – Veba, RedDread (Stumblefunk) and Laura Hancock (four:four).
