It has been a while since I reviewed a Manual release, and that is not due to any lack of quality in the slightest. Here we have a new “Seasons” EP from the camp which features four great tracks from Jan Hertz & Rocko Garoni, Moritz Guhling, Sominloquist, and Mariano Mellino.

First up on the EP is the German duo Jan Hertz & Rocko Garoni with their track “Kapitaenn Morgan”. The track is a superb deep atmospheric number that would happily grace both those lush warm up sets or those sets towards the end of the night. If you like the sounds of Dixon you would be advised to take a listen to this!

Next up is Moritz Guhling with “Beyong Gravity” which is very much that deep, almost progressive sound of now. If you like the sounds of Beachcoma you would certainly like this very much. The break is sublime yet simple. One of those early night deep numbers filled with emotion. Lovely work from Moritz!

The third track on the EP is “Modern Times” by the labels debutant to the label, Sominloquist. I believe he first came to the attention of Paul Hazendonk after his debut EP on Kunsthandwerk last year! If this is some of this guys early work he is certainly one to watch. Another deep, ethereal number here, and one that really does take you on a journey into to deep depths of contemplation. Wow, such a beautiful track!

The final track on the EP is by Mariano Mellino titled “The Idol”, and there is certainly nothing idol about this track at all. It is by far the track with the most pace, and is no doubt a full on proggy number for those peak time sets that require emotion! Simply superb work from this man, and if this is the standard that is set by Manual for 2015 roll on the next releases!

An EP packed with deep, atmospheric gems here! If you like your PROPER deep house and deep progressive sounds then this is the EP for you. Take a listen folks you will certainly not be disappointed here in the slightest!
