Moon Harbour imprint kicks off 2016 with a release that sees collaboration between label boss Matthias Tanzmann and fellow musician Daniel Stefanik titled – “Volta EP”, a two tracker release that captures the essential sound waves of the style in question.

First up – “Volta” should give Tech House lovers quite a bit of dance floor take off, the rhythmic bounce and pulsing chords announce their presence in style. There’s a smart involvement of vocals that stay away from being cheesy, adding flavour to the whole construction of this track. The bulbous bass line keeps you adrift along-side fractured, whirling electronics all throughout its 7 minutes.

Flip to – “Swamp” epitomizes a fearless digital formation of unexpectedly fresh sounds. Its gritty and gristly bass line joins in with iridescent clatters and drummy trimmings in the back ground overlaid by a vocal stretch complimenting it all nicely. Surely one of those records meant in a no nonsense way and to dance with design.
