Merry Christmas from all the team at Decoded Magazine

Merry Christmas from all the team at Decoded Magazine

It has been a fantastic year and full of challenges, highs, lows and hard work this year and without your full support, it is not possible. As you may know, mid 2014, we completely rebranded from This Is Progressive, changed direction, new site, content, business model, expanded music styles and launched the now Decoded Magazine. It has been extremely rewarding and a labour of love for the team to be able to day in day out, report on an industry we not only love, but live and breathe.

Naturally we have stayed true to our founding principles of supporting and nurturing underground house, progressive, techno and electronic music, not engaging in anyway the EDM scene, click-baiting or politics of the industry, to only provide factual and interesting topics.

Looking back over the last 12 months, we have been lucky to give media support and host events around the world including Hernan Cattaneo in Amsterdam, Mauritius and Liverpool (at one point he must of thought we were stalking him), Josh Wink and Rene Engel in Alkmaar (Netherlands) Guy J in Mauritius and Regenerate Festival (Mumbai), to co-hosting with good friend C-Jay with an official closing party at Amsterdam Dance Event with Darin Epsilon and Jaydee winding up our last event for 2014 in The Netherlands on Boxing Day.

Our syndicated radio show is now broadcasted in 14 countries with an estimated 200 000 listeners each month, from Sydney to Buenos Aires to New York with some truly amazing guests.

We have formed close and extended friendships with so many readers, followers, labels, promoters, radio stations, venues, artist managers, public relations, artists and more, it is too many to list, but you know who you are and we cannot thank you enough for your support.

All of this is not possible without our amazing team (more like a close family) with our A&R boys Ian French and Simon Huxtable, Ian Dillon hosting our global radio show, carefully managed by Daz Pearson to Mick Finucan and Jaap Ligthart working tireless with myself to engage with promoters, clubs and agents for our event bookings, ticketing and long term vision.

Of course the real brains behind it all is our writers. Their dedication, passion and drive to present factual, well written and informative articles, news, reviews and more is greatly appreciated by us in ways that words cannot describe.

So, what does 2015 have instore for us? well, we can announce that we will be making some major structural changes to Decoded Magazine with new dedicated sites opening in various countries, along with new Editors, writers and events. What does this mean for you? It will increase exposure to you, your clients and music to new markets, along with opportunities for collaborations, events and more.

We also will be soon launching a new feature; Decoded TV with interviews, reporting and events around the world managed by two of the most talented DJs, producers and videographers – Mason Bach and Amber Long.

On top of this, we can announce our first round of events for the new year, with Decoded hosting 3 stages at Snowboxxx Festival in the French Alps over 6 nights – find out more here. Of course this is not our only event we have planned, more to be announced soon.

Lastly, we are now in place to accept advertising and integrated marketing campaigns across the site, platforms and other mediums. If you would like to know more, feel free to drop me an email  to discuss it further.

Once again, thank you for your continual support, a very Merry Christmas and most of all, a safe and prosperous New Year to you and your family from all the team. We look forward to working (and enjoying a drink or two) with you in 2015.

Yours sincerely,
