Minneapolis-based TML presents the Machine Bias EP, out 16th February on Hotflush. The four track package features a remix from Brooklyn’s Justin Cudmore and brandishes a combination of vintage electro, acid house, and broken drum programming that attempts to draw a line from midwestern raves to UK sound systems.

‘Cell ID’ is a scuzzy, lo-fi percussive workout with subtle harmonies, followed by ‘B2B’, an angular blend of jittery
vocals, swung rhythms and fierce claps. ‘Human’ levitates cold synth pads over a formidable kick, whilst Justin
Cudmore’s remix of ‘RHU’ channels polyrhythmic house with a dose of acid
