Carlo Gambino should need no introduction to this industry we all love, he has been DJ’ing since the mid 90’s and has played at many of the world’s best loved dance floors including ‘Back to Basics’ (Leeds), ‘Sankeys’ (Manchester), ‘Space’ (Ibiza), ‘Culture Box’ (Copenhagen), ‘Pix Club’ (Switzerland), ‘Decadence’ (Paris), ‘Verboten’ (NYC), ‘Sash’ (Sydney), ‘The Breakfast Club’ (Melbourne)
Carlo’s DJ career spans well over 2 decades with his production career now well into double figures gaining support from many A-listers including Raresh, Chris Stussy, Silverlining, Archie Hamiliton, Barac, East End Dubs, Jaden Thompson, Seth Troxler, Matt Tolfrey to name but a few.
With releases on heavyweight labels such as Cinthie’s ‘We_R_House’, Franck Roger’s ‘Real Tone’, Jamie Jone’s ‘Hot Waves’, Okain’s ‘Ball Park Records’, Sy’s EWax Editions’ and Clara Da Costa’s ‘Jack House’ plus releases on ‘Euphoria Records’, ‘Sense Traxx’, ‘Floorpiece’ to name but a few. Recent releases have been on the likes of ‘Bare Bones’, ‘Discotech’, ‘Tanny Records’, ‘Audio Analysts’ and ‘Echoes Of Glory’ with a number of releases still to come throughout the rest of 2022.
It was in 2011 when Carlo launched his very own label, ‘Midnight Social Recordings’. With Artists such as Al Bradley, Dudley Strangeways, Diego Krause, Jay Tripwire, Ray Mono amongst others have already released on the label. The label is still going from strength to strength and is still gaining recognition in all the right places with the label at almost at 80 releases. The labels first official vinyl only releases includes music from Tommy Vicari Jnr has just been released with further releases to come from the likes of David Delgado, Adam Collins and Sam Haskin over the next 12 months.
In 2017 Carlo decided to leave the UK and head to a sunnier climate, that being Sydney. Since his move 5 years ago Carlo has continued with his label and also his productions with a continuous flow of releases. Carlo is also a regular player at both legendary parties, ‘SASH’ in Sydney and also ‘The Breakfast Club’ in Melbourne amongst a string of others
