A gloriously depraved melting pot of glamour, hedonism and debauchery; Manhattan’s Studio 54 was once the world’s most infamous nightclub. Playing host to Andy Warhol, Freddie Mercury, Grace Jones and David Bowie, its notorious blend of unrestrained indulgence and anything-goes attitude carved out a permanent place in the history of club culture, achieving mythical status as a glittering utopia for those who love to let loose and party down with no rules, no boundaries, and no bad vibes.
With the exclusive rights to the original Studio 54 brand, MN2S are launching an all-new global event series that’s going to tarnish the reputation of select clubs, venues and event spaces around the world with an extravagantly filthy, disgracefully excessive, once-in-a-lifetime party that brings the Studio 54 ethos right into the 21st century. Bring your baddest behaviour, your naughtiest underwear and leave your hang-ups at the door. This isn’t a tribute act or a throwback Thursday, and it certainly ain’t 1977 anymore. It’s 2019, and this is the real f**king deal. Slip on your alter-ego, don your most shameless garms and, in the words of Chic, “just come on down to the 54”.
“Opening night was spectacular, people were shoulder to shoulder dancing frenetically. Every night they were open, Tuesday through Sunday, there were at least 2000 people in Studio 54.” – Nicky Siano
We’re taking A Night of Studio 54 to the most lavish theatres and venues in every city across the globe, creating immersive and interactive spaces where the audience, the performers and the DJs can come together as one. A playground of spontaneity where anything can happen and no two shows are the same, the event will feature reimagined set design inspired by the original Studio 54 experience, with production, sets, and costumes that transform as the night gets wilder.
And if that isn’t enough to get your knickers in a twist, listen closely: each edition of A Night of Studio 54 will feature electrifying performances from two of the club’s original DJs – Jellybean Benitez and Nicky Siano – along with some extremely special guests, live acts and DJs hand-picked for each event. Expect a fusion of house and disco blended seamlessly by the very same legendary selectors who witnessed the birth of Studio 54. You won’t find that anywhere else.
“The most memorable night I played was the infamous Bianca Jagger birthday party… she rode in on a white horse wearing a red Halston gown. That was the night the studio became the hottest club in town.” – Nicky Siano
A Night of Studio 54 just sold out the entire Southbank Centre for Nile Rodgers’ Meltdown Festival and will be heading to a club near you in 2019. Brace yourself – we’re coming in hot and dangerous.
