Critically acclaimed Reggae/Dancehall artist Mr. Williamz has today released his latest record ‘Dance Haffi Nice’ via Digital Soundboy. The track is produced by and features drum & bass pioneer Shy FX, alongside the mighty Ms Dynamite.

The record is already getting love across the scene, the track seamlessly blends Shy FX’s distinctive drum & bass sound with Mr. Williamz’s hypnotic vocals to create a refreshing blast of dancefloor energy. Ms Dynamite, widely recognised as a pioneering force in UK music, also features and does not fail. Her eclectic vocals deliver a typically fiery performance layered atop of Shy FX’s signature production and sonic finesse.

Mr. Williamz, hailing from West London, is a highly regarded artist in the Reggae and Dancehall genres. His impressive career includes collaborations with prominent figures such as Chronixx, Damian Marley, Stephen Marley, and most notably, his ongoing partnership with long-time associate Shy FX on projects like ‘Badboy Business,’ ‘Sound Killa,’ as well as this latest release, ‘Dance Haffi Nice.’

Mr Williamz comments, “This song draws on inspiration from foundational reggae/dancehall sounds, blending with UK vibes to create something which sounds timeless. As soon as Shy hit me with the idea it all sounded very natural and we recorded the vocals straightaway and Ms Dynamite added that final touch and we created a great vibe in the studio.”

Shy FX adds, “Melody and smiles. That was the process of making this track. It’s always great vibes working with my friends, Ms. Dynamite and Mr. Williamz. This one isn’t just a track but bottled joy, and we can’t wait for listeners to uncork it!”

Andre “Shy FX” Williams has quietly been one of the most influential British producers of the last 25 years. From his ground-breaking jungle anthem Original Nuttah (a tune that last year celebrated its 25th anniversary with a new remix from Chase & Status and has as much impact now as it did when it first smashed into the charts in the early 90s).

Through his legendary DJ sets and productions, Shy’s ability to fuse soundsystem culture with electronic futurism and classic song writing has defined the music of successive generations. Having recently released his critically acclaimed album ‘Raggamuffin SoundTape’ that deftly steps between tempo and styles, encompassing lyrical hip hop, sweet soul, and bass heavy breakbeat and includes the now modern classic ‘Roll The Dice’ Featuring Lily Allen & Stamina MC, ‘Bad After We’ featuring Ghetts and Kojey Radical, other collaborators on the project include Cara Delevingne, Chronixx, Maverick Sabre & D Double E.

2023 saw Shy FX’s huge collaboration with Kojey Radical and Nile Rogers on ‘Good Morning’, ahead of his 11th instalment of his legendary Digital Soundboy Stage at Notting Hill Carnival. This year brought an exhilarating summer as Shy FX graced over 30 festival stages, including high-profile performances at Glastonbury, Parklife, Reading, and Leeds.
